Bobcat Fault Codes
Bobcat is the dominant compact equipment brand in North American skid-steer, compact track loader, and mini-excavator markets. Bobcat doesn't build its own engines -- modern S, T, and E series machines run a Kubota V3800-CR-TIER4F or a Doosan/Develon D24/D34 (Doosan Bobcat is the parent company). Operator display codes appear as 2-3 digit codes on the cluster (CODE-01, CODE-03, etc.) and full SPN/FMI is read with the Bobcat Service Analyzer dealer software.

| Bobcat with Doosan D34 | 2014-present | S770, S850 skid steer loaders; T870 compact track loader | 3.4L Doosan/Develon for the larger machines. Common-rail with cooled EGR + DPF. |
Common Bobcat Issues
- Operator display fault codes (CODE-01 oil pressure, CODE-03 coolant high, CODE-05 charging, etc.) -- consult Operation & Maintenance Manual for the family
- DPF clogging from short-cycle skid-steer work (load-haul-dump pattern) requiring forced regen via Bobcat Service Analyzer
- EGR valve carbon-fouling on V3800 and D24/D34 platforms
- Charging system / alternator faults on machines used for heavy hydraulic-only work without engine load
- Hydraulic charge pressure faults that cascade into engine derate codes
- Coolant temp high from blocked rad fins / hydraulic cooler in dusty environments
- Common-rail pressure / SCV faults on V3800-powered machines
